New Delhi:In another shocking sexual molestation case that has come to light in the national capital,a 13-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her aunt’s boyfriend in Shahbad Dairy area on Sunday night. A report said the 30-year-old woman lured her niece to her home and then tricked her into drinking alcohol. Once the minor was drunk, the woman’s boyfriend raped her in the nearby woods. The Hindustan Times reported that the woman has been arrested while the alleged rapist, identified as Mukesh Kumar, IS absconding. The accused is believed to be in his late 30s.
The incident came to light after the girl’s father noticed that his daughter was bleeding. The father took his daughter to the Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital where doctors said after a medical examination that the minor girl had been raped. The girl is reported to be recovering after an initial hospitalisation of 24 hours. According to the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Rohini) Rajneesh Gupta, they have registered an FIR under IPC sections 376 (rape), 328 (causing hurt by intoxicating substance with intent to commit an offence), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 120B (criminal conspiracy). Charges have also been filed against the two under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
A police official said the girl stays with her father in Shahbad Dairy; her mother has left the family. The accused aunt also resides in the same area and used to care for the girl in her mother’s absence. She has been having an affair with Mukesh, who is a mini truck driver.
Police said they have added the criminal conspiracy charge as the crime appears to be pre-planned. Meanwhile, a team of police personnel has been dispatched to Bihar to sea
rch for the missing accused Mukesh.Narrating the incident, the official said the woman made the girl drink soft drink mixed with alcohol after luring her to her home. She then took her to the nearby woods where Mukesh committed the crime. The woman and Mukesh were also drunk at the time of the incident.
